Skill Up

Commonwealth Corporation receives funding from the Department of Youth Services (DYS) to provide a foundation of life skills, career development, and workforce training, supporting all career exploration throughout residential and community settings to youth committed to the juvenile justice system across the state of Massachusetts. These services also include creating and maintaining a strategic network of employers, contacts, and training providers that align with labor market information and youth interest. The mission of our partnership is to provide youth with access to a continuum of options and opportunities that will give them the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to build a better future.

For this initiative Commonwealth Corporation does not administer grant funds but instead provides direct service to DYS-committed youth.
